Salary Range: Base Compensation: $135,000 - $155,000 + Annual Bonus.
What you’ll do?
The Manager of Technical Product Management will be a part of the Product Management and Strategic Marketing Team that oversees product lines for: Schaerer, WMF & Wilbur Curtis. The role will focus on overseeing the Technical Product Management organization by setting clear goals and expectations as a key part of managing performance to drive business outcomes. This extends from increasing the success of the existing products to assisting in the technical requirements for new products and features for the future. The role will also work directly with development and production (factory) teams to bring products to life from requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop product roadmaps with a customer-first mindset; Ownership of the product development gate process in Americas for the three brands including milestones and deliverables.
- Lead and coordinate customer specific projects which would include adapting global products to customer technical needs.
- Define strategic direction of Technical Product management, in alignment with Global Product development teams.
- Work closely with Product success team to ensure a smooth hand-off for bringing the product to market & customers. Additionally, work with PS on product issues and quality topics coming back from the field.
- Regularly review products with internal stakeholders to ensure the products meet expectations.
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Experience – 8+ years of demonstrated progressively increasing levels of leadership experience. Must have experience directly managing a team with technical products.
- Education – B.S. in Engineering or Technical degree highly preferred.
- Key Skills (top 3 skills): Hands on experience with equipment/hardware in lab/field environment, project management, cross functional/ global collaboration.
- Traits: Attention to detail, organizational skills,sense of urgency, managing multiple competing projects/priorities
